Found a way to install windows games, however ... ... I need the installed files with the no CD patch already included. Does someone have an idea to help me? It worked with Rome Total War today (not that I played that before, but it worked)

Nowadays, all no CD patches are actually just replacing the executable files and sometimes, some data files. No more running of a patch required so should be no problem. Just installed Empire Total War, same story |

For my mac I need the installed files (of a windows game) and then I can convert them to a mac format. But I need a way to install the game (and the no CD 'patch') before I can convert them. So still need to do some work before I can play with you guys

How about the most straight forward solution of using a PC to install the thing, then copy the files through network/memory device? Or don't you own any PC's? |

Myah, external HD sounds good. If that doesn't work, you could try setting up an FTP server on your Windows PC and an FTP client on your Mac, and just download the files over your LAN. Fast, and no messing around with hardware ~~ |

Hm.. as long as it doesn't convert the file data, it should be ok. Not sure what technique you're using to make the Windows-files work, so can't really say.. ~~ And again: buy a PC! |

Nope, not realy I think that other ppl have to work for me Found Cider Portals for Oblivion, Savage XR (without updates ...) and NFS. RTW worked at home, but on my computer it doesn't work (it shuts down after loading the intro page). I am afraid that my laptop isn't made for the new technologie Will have to buy a new one in time. Games that I (read my borther) have for mac are: Starcraft, Warcraft 3, UT 2003?4?, Quake 3 (dunno if I can play that online), Civ 4, Age of Empires (I actualy played that online already someone else in favor for a battle?), Age of Mythologie ... and maybe some other games don't know and haven't play them all.
